The BM-21 "Grad" (NATO: "Hail") is a Soviet 122mm rocket artillery system, mounted mainly on the URAL-375D chassis, and since the late 1970s, on the URAL-4320. The launcher was first used in combat during the Soviet-Chinese conflict and was widely used in the Arab-Israeli conflict, the Afghan war, and numerous other conflicts worldwide. The BM-21 can fire all 40 of its rocket tubes in less than a minute – delivering immense firepower and battlefield advantage.
