This is a precisely crafted replacement for the plastic barrels used in German tank models from the Second World War period, providing an extremely realistic appearance and exceptional durability to the finished model.

Historical Background and Specifications

• Scale: 1/16 – ideal for modelers who prefer large, detailed armored vehicle models.
• Intended use: Barrel for the 50 mm KwK 39 L/60 cannon, which was the main armament of Panzer III tanks in the J (late), L, and M variants used by the German Army (Wehrmacht).
• Historical period: World War II (years 1942–1943).

The Panzer III was the main German medium tank, heavily used from the outset of the conflict. From the Ausf. J (late) version, the short-barreled 50 mm cannon was replaced with the longer and more effective KwK 39 L/60, which increased the tank's firepower, particularly on the Eastern Front, e.g. during the battles of Kursk or Stalingrad.
