AK Interactive AK35002 FJ43 PICKUP WITH DSHKM 1/35 is an exceptionally detailed plastic model kit (1/35 scale) representing the legendary FJ43 pickup truck equipped with a heavy DShKM machine gun. The vehicle is based on the famous J40 series of Japanese off-road cars, widely used around the world since 1953 – both in military and civilian applications. The model reflects the version used in numerous conflicts and by various armed forces during the second half of the 20th century and in modern times (periods: Cold War, local conflicts, contemporary times). Among the main inspirations are the so-called “Toyota Wars,” conflicts in Africa during which such vehicles fitted with DShK machine guns proved to be extremely effective.

The AK35002 kit allows you to recreate the authentic, medium wheelbase FJ43 version produced from 1961–1985. This model covers military adaptations used, among others, by units in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Its greatest advantage is the realistically rendered heavy DShKM machine gun, widely employed in many armies worldwide from 1938 to the present day. The set also includes parts for building several variants of the vehicle, offering great flexibility for customization.
