The plastic model kit Clear Prop! CP72002 UH-2 A/B Seasprite ADVANCED KIT 1/72 is an advanced set dedicated to modelers seeking the highest quality details and realistic replication. The model represents the American multipurpose helicopter Kaman UH-2A/B Seasprite in 1/72 scale, widely used by the United States Navy (US Navy) during the Cold War period. The UH-2A and UH-2B Seasprite played a key role in carrier operations, rescue missions, and maritime support tasks during armed conflicts, including the Vietnam War.

These helicopters were used from the early 1960s, operating on ships such as the USS Oriskany and USS Catskill, as well as at American air bases like NAS Atsugi in Japan. Their construction enabled operation in difficult maritime conditions and featured innovative technological solutions of that era. The Seasprite was the first helicopter designed specifically for the US Navy to operate from aircraft carriers.

The Clear Prop! CP72002 kit includes:

  • five sprues of high-quality plastic (including one with clear parts, perfect for making cockpit windows),
  • precise photo-etched parts, allowing the replication of the finest details,
  • two high-resolution decal sheets – one with technical markings, the other with patterns for four painting versions,
