Techmod 48815 - Potez 63-11 (1/48) - Decals for reconnaissance aircraft model

The Potez 63-11 is one of the most interesting reconnaissance aircraft used by the air forces of France and the Axis powers during World War II. We offer a specialist decal set Techmod 48815 designed for models in the popular 1:48 scale. This set allows you to recreate several authentic paint schemes for the Potez 63-11, an aircraft that played a significant role in reconnaissance aviation from 1939–1945.

  • Scale: 1/48
  • Category: Model decals for plastic scale models
  • Material: Water-slide decals for application to plastic models
  • Manufacturer: Techmod – Polish market leader in modelling accessories
  • Recommendation: For modellers seeking exceptional print quality and historical accuracy

Historical information: The Potez 63-11 was a French reconnaissance aircraft, widely used by the Armée de l'Air, and after the capitulation of France—interned or taken over by the Luftwaffe, and even by the Hungarian and Romanian air forces. It served, among other places, in Haifa (Palestine) and Egypt in 1940-1941. Some units seized by the Third Reich and Axis-allied countries were used for training and reconnaissance missions, mainly in Central Europe from 1942-1944. It featured a modern design for its era—a twin-engine layout and rich optical equipment dedicated to effective battlefield observation.

Marking options included in the set:

  • French aircraft from Haifa (Palestine) and Egypt (1940-1941)
  • Units used by the Luftwaffe and the Royal Romanian Air Force in 1942
  • Hungarian aircraft from the Institute of Aeronautical Research, Topoca and Ferihegy airfields in 1944

Why choose Techmod 48815? The decals are distinguished by excellent print quality, precise details and faithfully reproduced colours of historic units. They are exceptionally thin and easy to apply even on complex surfaces of models. They allow for the recreation of many authentic configurations, making them an excellent choice for modellers passionate about World War II aviation history and rare paint scheme reconstructions.

Application difficulty level: 2/5 – recommended for both intermediate and advanced modellers who value the highest level of historical accuracy in model representation.

Scale

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
