Historical Description

The Skoda LT Vz. 35 was a Czech light tank produced before World War II. Originally adopted by the Czechoslovak army, after Germany’s occupation in 1939, these vehicles were incorporated into the Wehrmacht as Panzerkampfwagen 35(t). It was also exported, most notably to Romania, where it was known as the R-2. These tanks participated in many key World War II operations—from the September Campaign in Poland, through fighting on the Eastern Front, and into the later stages of the conflict.
