Eduard 73575 B5N1 Kate AIRFIX 1/72 – Photo-Etched Parts Set for Model

The Eduard 73575 B5N1 Kate AIRFIX 1/72 set is a high-quality scale modeling accessory in 1:72 scale, dedicated to the accurate reproduction of the Nakajima B5N1 "Kate" torpedo bomber by Airfix. The Nakajima B5N1 was a Japanese carrier-based torpedo bomber used by the Imperial Navy during World War II, especially in the attack on Pearl Harbor and in naval battles in the Pacific from 1939 to 1945.

This photo-etched set by Eduard is designed for enthusiasts of precise details who want to elevate the realism of their Airfix model to an even higher level. The set includes numerous cockpit parts, instrument panels, seatbelts, cockpit details, and exterior elements that allow for meticulous finishing of the model.

• high-quality photo-etched sheets made of thin stainless steel, providing precise reproduction of the smallest details
• dedicated for the Airfix B5N1 Kate plastic model in 1:72 scale, representing the legendary aircraft from World War II
• the photo-etched parts fit perfectly to the Airfix set, replacing and enhancing the original cockpit and equipment details
• the set includes both interior parts (panels, seatbelts, gear) and exterior details (antennas, hatch covers, Pitot tubes)
• intended for intermediate and advanced modelers – difficulty level 3/5
• catalogued as “photo-etched accessories for plastic scale models”

Using the Eduard 73575 set significantly enhances the realism of the B5N1 Kate's appearance, allowing for the reproduction of detailed control panels, cockpit structural elements, and selected external components that are difficult to achieve with standard modeling techniques. The sheets come originally packed by the Czech manufacturer and include assembly diagrams to facilitate proper installation.

We especially recommend this set to modelers striving for maximum realism in dioramas and historical collections – it replicates authentic details of the flying icon from the Pacific theater. This upgrade will give your model a unique, professional look.
