StuH 42 Ausf. El StuH 42 (Sturmhaubitze 42) fue un cañón autopropulsado basado en el chasis del tanque Sturmgeschütz III, empleado principalmente por el Ejército Alemán (Wehrmacht) entre 1942 y 1945, exclusivamente durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Fue diseñado para satisfacer las necesidades de apoyo de fuego de la infantería; su arma principal era un cañón de 105 mm capaz de destruir tanto fortificaciones como pequeños vehículos enemigos. El StuH 42 se empleó ampliamente en el Frente Oriental, en Normandía (Italia) y en combates urbanos hacia el final de la guerra.
